Dawas freestyle karate was formed in 2005 with Dave and Ash teaching a small number of people in a local squash court, it was quickly outgrown and moved to Admirals Junior School where they would stay for over 4 years, Dawas is now at Rosemary Musker High School.

We are still a growing club currently running two lessons per week teaching a mix of Freestyle karate and traditional wado ryu.

Our junior lessons are tailor made towards children from age 5 up with a separate grading syllabus just for the kids and the added grouped tuition from our team of instructors’ makes for a fun and safe environment for children to learn in.
We teach with open minds and are always trying new things over the past few years we have had many guest instructors from styles like kickboxing, judo, thi chi and more and we will continue to learn more as students and instructors.
